Job Description

Cheyenne Village, the oldest provider of residential services to adults with disabilities in Colorado Springs is looking for qualified applicants to provide daytime transportation for individuals receiving services to and from medical appoints.

This position provides support to individuals during appoints and assists with communication between individuals and health care providers.  Types of appoints include medical, dental, laboratory, therapy, etc. 

Maintains a professional, positive working relationship by phone, and in person, with all community contacts, especially professional office staff personnel.

Assists with communication among residential teams, nursing office staff and medical providers.

Processes paper work required for appointments and filing of medical records.

Must have ability to negotiate and work with all temperaments cooperatively.  

Ensures individual’s health and safety is monitored and protected at all times.  Maintains safe driving practices at all times.

Skills / Requirements

Experience in human service or related field required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and e-mail. Maintains criminal and driving checks acceptable with State of Colorado, insurance carrier and Cheyenne Village, Inc. requirements. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
