Cheyenne Village, Inc., a local 501(c)3 non-profit,  has been providing residential and support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the Colorado Springs area for more than 50 years. Cheyenne Village, Inc. is largest provider of residential services to adults with IDD in the Colorado Springs areas.  Cheyenne Village. Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates for an accounting and payroll position.  This position is responsible for management of accounting functions including the application of accounting principles to the organization’s business. Responsibilities include for processing bi-weekly payroll, fixed assets, general ledger and financial statements and banking records. Monitors accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash receipts. Experience with ADP payroll and reporting system preferred.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.  Five years’ related experience in non-profit setting.  Knowledge of computerized accounting systems with Blackbaud software used for accounting, ADP for payroll and Microsoft office products.  Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
