Supported Living Staff
As a direct support professional, you will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities develop living skills, make choices and understand benefits and consequences. You will implement service and support plans and provide skill acquisition training in accordance with individual interests and choices. Those best suited for these jobs will embrace the intrinsic value of working with adults with developmental disabilities and encouraging them to work toward independence. Our direct support professionals are resourceful, quick-thinking, patient and positive.
In exchange for your comprehensive care, you’ll be rewarded with meaningful relationships with our residents and their families. Many of our employees have worked for Cheyenne Village for years, allowing them to grow with residents. When our organization was founded, we started with 11 residents. At present, we serve over 400 individuals with many more on a waiting list. Apply today and help us expand our efforts to serve clients in the Colorado Springs area and beyond.
