Cheyenne Village, Inc., a local 501(c)(3), the largest and oldest provider of residential services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colorado Springs is seeking qualified applicants for DSP-SCC positions. As a Supported Community Connector you support individuals with IDD in group and individual settings in pursuit of community involvement through leisure, volunteer and recreational activities in the community. This position assists and supports individuals to contribute to and participate in community activities, locations and relationships and promotes and supports individual choice in all activities, relationships and services. Activities may include such things as volunteering to deliver "Meals on Wheels", bowling, cooking classes, and swimming or gym activities.

Skills / Requirements
Experience in human services or related field preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and e-mail.
Maintains acceptable criminal background and Department of Motor Vehicle checks. Maintain valid US driver's license.
Important Notes
Must be 18 years of age. Must become CPR, First Aid and QMAP certified. Certifications and training are paid for by Cheyenne Village, Inc.
