Cheyenne Village, the oldest provider of residential services to adults with disabilities in Colorado Springs is looking for qualified applicants to provide daytime transportation for individuals receiving services to and from medical appoints.

This position provides support to individuals during appoints and assists with communication between individuals and health care providers.  Types of appoints include medical, dental, laboratory, therapy, etc. 

Maintains a professional, positive working relationship by phone, and in person, with all community contacts, especially professional office staff personnel.  Assists with communication among residential teams, nursing office staff and medical providers.  Processes paper work required for appointments and filing of medical records.

Must have ability to negotiate and work with all temperaments cooperatively.  

Ensures individual’s health and safety is monitored and protected at all times.  Maintains safe driving practices at all times.

HIRING BONUSES - $1,000 after completion of training, approximately 2 weeks.  RETENTION BONUS - $250 quarterly.

Skills / Requirements

Experience in human services or related field required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and e-mail.

Maintains acceptable criminal background and Department of Motor Vehicle checks. Maintain valid US driver's license.
